Donald Kottwitz

Donald E. Kottwitz, 59, of The Kensington, 233 N. Hastings, died Monday, April 14, 2003 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Thursday, April 17, 2003; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Pastor Stacey L. Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Donald E. Kottwitz was born February 12, 1944 in Hastings, Nebraska to Erwin C. & Gerda E. (Stubbe) Kottwitz. He graduated from Hastings Senior High School and attended Central Community College. He served in the Nebraska National Guard during the Vietnam War from January 18, 1965 to January 17, 1971. On August 23, 1970, he married Deborah Steffen. He worked for Chief Industries in Grand Island, Nebraska for over 25 years. He was a member of the First Church of God, Hastings, Nebraska. He was a life long resident of central Nebraska.

Donald E. Kottwitz was preceded in death by his parents, 1 nephew and 1 great nephew.
