Donald C. "Don" Kramer

Hastings resident Donald C. “Don” Kramer, 85, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024, at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, NE.    

New location: A short service will now follow the book signing at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at Butler Volland Chapel with Rev. Greg Allen-Pickett officiating. A book signing and time with the family will be 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at the funeral home. A time of fellowship and a light snack with the family will follow from approximately 2-4 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Crossroads Mission Avenue of Hastings or donor’s choice. 

Don was a 1957 graduate of Hastings High School. His ability as a catcher on the American Legion baseball team meant a lot to him. He was aware of the fact that he turned 85 in January in spite of memory issues. Those issues worsened soon after.

Don was preceded in death by his parents; older sister, Judy Kramer; and numerous others.
