Donald Kyle

Hastings resident, Donald D. Kyle, 82, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017, at his home in Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Tuesday, August 22, 2017; 10:30 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Chaplain John Mueller officiating. Burial will in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Memorials may be given to the Donald Kyle Memorial Fund. Visitation will be Sunday, August 20, 2017; 1:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. and Monday, August 21, 2017; 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with family present 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Tuesday.

Donald was born October 9, 1934 in Belleville, Kansas to Orville & Goldie (Doggett) Kyle. He married Louann M. Heinzon July 28, 1954; she preceded him in death on February 23, 2005. Donald was a brick layer for over 50 years and was a member of the Eagles Club. He enjoyed deer hunting, playing cards, and gardening.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Louann M. Kyle; daughter, Juliann Koerperich; brother, Myron Kyle; sister, Lola Johnston; and an infant brother, Ralph.
