Donald Luther

Glenvil resident, Donald C. 'Butch' Luther, 53, of 402 Sturgis, died Saturday, May 14, 2005 in Hall County due to an auto accident.

Rosary service will be Tuesday, May 17, 2005; 7:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, May 18, 2005; 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church with Father Larry Gyhra officiating. Burial with military rites will be in Parkview Cemetery, all in Hastings, Nebraska.

Mr. Luther was born November 6, 1951 in Orleans, Nebraska to Carl & Effadale (McFarland) Luther. He attended Hastings High School and also Central Community College. He served in the United States Army from 1970 until 1972 and was stationed at Fort Riley and in Germany. On July 12, 1974, he married Linda Miller. He was employed by Burlington Northern-Santa Fe Railroad. He was a member of the union of Brotherhood of Maintenance Organization.

Mr. Luther was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Kathern Regan.

Memorial may be given to Family's Choice

VISITATION: Mon. 5-16-05; 5pm-9pm at the funeral home
Tue. 5-17-05; 9am-9pm at the funeral home
Wed. 5-18-05; 1 hr. prior to service at the church
