Donald Tickler

Former area resident, Donald K. Tickler, 87, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away December 16, 2016 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Burial Office will be Thursday, December 22, 2016; 10:00 A.M. at St. Mark&rsqos Episcopal Pro-Cathedral, Hastings with The Very Rev. Catherine Scott officiating. Burial will be in Harvard Cemetery, Harvard. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 21, 2016; 5:00 P.M. &rsqo" 7:00 P.M. with family present at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. John&rsqos Episcopal Church, 214 North 6th Street, Fort Smith, AR 72901.

He was born April 24, 1929 in Silver Creek, Nebraska to Oliver Kossuth and Anna Bieck Tickler. Don was a retired engineer for the Northern Natural Gas Company, a member of the Noon Exchange Club and St. John&rsqos Episcopal Church.

Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne Tickler.
