Donald Woodworth

Hastings resident, Donald N. Woodworth, 80, of 909 Ronan Dr., died Tuesday, May 28, 2002 at his home.

Memorial services will be Friday, May 31, 2002; 2:00 P.M. at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Sam Rathod officiating. Burial will be at Fort McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell, Nebraska at a later date.

Donald N. Woodworth was born July 18, 1921 in Craig, Nebraska to William & Lilly (Carlson) Woodworth. He served in the United States Navy from 1943-1946. He married Lyla Guyer on July 21, 1946. After they married, they moved to the Denver, Colorado area where they lived for 50 years. They were the original builders and operators of the private pre-school, Happy Valley Children's Ranch in Colorado. They moved to Hastings, Nebraska in July of 1997. He was a member of First United Methodist Church where he served as a Stephen Minister. He also served as a volunteer at Alcott School.

Donald N. Woodworth was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother.

Memorial may be given to Mary Lanning Hospice or First United Methodist Church elevator fund.
