Donelle Williamson

Front desk goddess and renowned Hastings artist, Donelle L. (Edmondson) Williamson, 63, passed away Tuesday evening, September 24, 2013 at Mary Lanning Healthcare.

There will be no public service or viewing at this time. A Celebration of Life is planned for around the holidays and will be announced later. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to help defray medical costs; they can be sent in Donelle's name to 1005 Washington, Hastings, Nebraska 68901.

Donelle was born at Mary Lanning on February 24, 1950 and graduated from Hastings High School in 1968. She later graduated with an applied science degree from Central Community College in Hastings. In 1980 she married Richard Williamson and they had two children. She worked 35 years at Hastings Regional Center admissions office and another five years at the Little Blue Natural Resources District Hastings Office.

Donelle was preceded in death by her parents, Archibald Goldon & Teddi F. (Life) Edmondson; uncles, Donald & Ivan Life; and grandparents.
