Donita McKown

Former Hastings resident, Donita L. McKown, 61, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Haven Home Nursing Home, Kenesaw, Nebraska.

A memorial service will be Tuesday, June 14, 2011; 10:30 A.M. at Peace Lutheran Church with Rev. Marcus J. Mackay officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be given to the family.

Donita was born December 19, 1949 in Hastings, Nebraska. She graduated from Hastings High School and then attended Central Community College. Donita worked at the Hastings Regional Center as a transcriptionist. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.

Donita was preceded in death by her father; Chester Engel.
