Donna Hawkinson

Hastings resident, Donna Hawkinson, 54, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Tuesday, April 18, 2017; 7:00 P.M. at Butler Volland Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, April 19, 2017; 10:00 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 18, 2017; 9:00 A.M. - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.

Donna was born March 8, 1963 to Richard & Shirley (Thompson) Loskill in Roseland, Nebraska. She graduated from Roseland High School in 1981 and attended CCC in Hastings. Donna married Jeff Hawkinson on April 9, 1983. She worked for City Optical for many years. Donna also worked at SunMart and worked for Hastings Utilities for the last 10 years.

Donna was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and a member of the Altar Society. She was the Treasurer for Taylor Manor near Republican City for many years. Donna enjoyed going to Harlan County Lake with her husband and family. She enjoyed hunting and fishing. Donna loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

Donna was preceded in death by her father.
