Dora Gundlach

Dora V. Gundlach, 80, of 309 Oswego, died Thursday, November 7, 2002, at her home.

Services will be Tuesday, November 12, 2002; 10:30 A.M. at First United Methodist Church with Dr. Sam Rathod officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Hastings, Nebraska.

Dora V. Gundlach was born February 14, 1922, in Lamar, Nebraska to Willard & Maude (Cunningham) Nicholson. She graduated from Palisade High School, Palisade, Nebraska. On October 6, 1944, she married Walter J. Gundlach. She worked for the Palisade Times as a linotypist. During WWII, she worked on the ships in Tacoma, Washington. In 1952, she moved from Chicago, Illinois to Hastings, Nebraska. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church and Acacia Chapter 39 of the Order of Eastern Star. She was a loving wife and mother and a giving friend to many.

Dora V. Gundlach was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, Vera Zielke & Buryle Phares and 1 brother, Timothy Nicholson.

Sister-in-law & Spouse: Coletta & Eugene Novak - Lombard, IL
