Dorothy Anderson

Hastings resident, Dorothy Antoinette Anderson, 95 of Perkins Pavilion, died Friday, October 1, 2004 at her home.

Services will be Tuesday, October 5, 2004; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Earl Higgins officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, both in Hastings, Nebraska.

Mrs. Anderson was born December 8, 1908 in Cairo, Nebraska to Hal & Lura (Knight) Shouse. She graduated from Cairo High School and attended Grand Island Baptist College for 2 years. On May 19, 1930, she married Willard Anderson in Grand Island, Nebraska and he preceded her in death on January 22, 2002. They moved from Brock, Nebraska to Hastings, Nebraska in 1942. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church, Women's Circle and Grandmothers Bowling League.

Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Willard and a sister.

Memorial may be given to First United Methodist Church

VISITATION: Mon. 10-4-04; 7pm-9pm with family present.
