Dorothy Fluckey

Dorothy A. Fluckey, 79, of 747 East 3rd Street, died Thursday, May 8, 2008 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Monday, May 12, 2008; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Harold D. Stromer officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Saturday, May 10, 2008; 9A.M - 9P.M., Sunday, May 11, 2008; 1P.M. - 9P.M. and Monday until service time. Memorials may be given to First St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Fluckey was born October 19, 1928 in Glenvil, Nebraska to Arthur & Jennie (Hulls) McCune. She graduated from Fairfield High School, Fairfield, Nebraska. She worked at Fleet Foote, NAD in Hastings and on December 13, 1952, she married Gordon E. Fluckey in Clay Center, Nebraska. They moved to Omaha where she worked for World Insurance. They moved to Hastings in 1954, where she was a homemaker and co/owner of TV Lab with her husband. She was a member of First St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Fluckey was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
