Dorothy A. Post, 84, of Perkins Pavilion died Wednesday, October 24, 2001 at Perkins Pavilion, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Monday, October 29, 2001; 10:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Tom Murray officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Dorothy A. Post was born March 31, 1917 in Hastings, Nebraska to Henry & Adaline (Pickering) Stark. She graduated from Hastings High School. She married Prentice Robert "Bob" Post on April 15, 1935 in Nelson, Nebraska and he preceded her in death on February 15, 1986. She worked for Kresge Company in Hastings and later moved to Victorville, California to work in the cement plant during WWII. They returned to Hastings where she was a homemaker and lived at 134 South Minnesota.

Dorothy A. Post was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother May Stark, husband Robert "Bob" Post, 4 brothers, 2 great-grandchildren and 1 daughter-in-law.
