Dorthy Young

Dorthy Young, 69, of 214 E. 6th St., died Wednesday, March 19, 2003 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Monday, March 24, 2003; 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church with Rev. Harland Minscer officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Dorthy Young was born December 30, 1933 in Guide Rock, Nebraska to Willis & Nora (Meford) Armstrong. She graduated from Guide Rock High School and married Dean F. Young on June 2, 1951in Red Cloud, Nebraska. He preceded her in death in 2001. She was a homemaker and worked for Dutton Lainson Company. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Eagles Auxiliary.

Dorthy Young was preceded in death by her mother Nora Armstrong, husband, Dean and a son, Mike.
