Doyle Hart

Former Hastings resident, Doyle I. Hart, 97, of Sun City, Arizona, died Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at Brighton Gardens, Sun City, Arizona.

Services will be Tuesday, December 28, 2004; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Dr. William Deahl, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Mr. Hart was born March 6, 1907 in Hastings, Nebraska to Henry E. & Nella C. (Rader) Hart. He married Helen I. Hawthorne in 1928 and she preceded him in death on March 7, 2001. He attended Hastings College Academy and graduated from Hastings College in 1929. He was a member of Willowbrook United Methodist Church in Sun City and a former member of First United Methodist Church in Hastings. He was a member of the Midwest Lodge # 317 A.F. & A.M. for sixty years. Mr. Hart was plant superintendent for Topaz Dairy in Hastings until it closed and then was a District Representative for the Independent Business Federation.

Mr. Hart was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Helen and a half sister, Norma Cope Lee.
