Dr. Timothy Anderson

Former Hastings resident, Dr. Timothy Malcolm Anderson, 57, of Piedmont, California, died Thursday, October 13, 2005 at Pacific Medical Center, San Francisco, California.

Memorial services will be Saturday, October 15, 2005; 11:00 A.M. at First St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hastings with Rev. Joel Remmers officiating. The remains have been donated to medical research in the state of California. Private family interment at a later date.

Dr. Anderson was born July 7, 1948 to Wilmer M. 'Bud' & Mary Elizabeth (Higgins) Anderson in Burlington, Iowa. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1966, Hastings College in 1970 and the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Medicine in 1975. He completed his residency at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California and practiced anesthesiology in the Bay area for a number of years.

Dr. Anderson was preceded in death by his father.
