Dustin Kinney

Hastings resident, Dustin S. Kinney, 30, passed away November 12, 2010 at his home.

Services will be Wednesday, November 17, 2010; 10:30 A.M. at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Hastings with Rev. Steven Peeler officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. There will be no visitation. There will be a book signing Tuesday, November 16, 2010; 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the Dustin S. Kinney Memorial Fund.

Dustin was born April 19, 1980 in Hastings, Nebraska to Keith & Cindy (Jones) Kinney. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1998. Dustin was in the United States Marine Corps from 1998 through 1999. On March 18, 2000 he married his best friend, Angie Ward in Hastings, Nebraska. He worked as a finance manager for Kerr Chevrolet in Hastings. He was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd. He coached little league baseball, was president of Hawthorne PTO and enjoyed being a dad and spending time with family and friends. Dustin is his boys' "hero".

Dustin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clint Jones, Oscar & Pearl Kinney, and Jim Kinney.
