Dwight Sandberg

Hastings resident, Dwight A. Sandberg, 58, of 722 East 6th, died Friday, May 5, 2006 at Mary Lanning Hospital.

Graveside service with military rites will be Tuesday, May 9, 2006; 9:30 A.M. at Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Memorial service will be Tuesday, May 9, 2006; 11:00 A.M. at Evangelical Free Church in Hastings with Roger Mohrlang officiating.

Mr. Sandberg was born March 22, 1948 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota to LaVerne F. & Ingeborg (Hallblade) Sandberg. He attended DeVry Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. He served in the United States Army from 2-13-1967 until 11-8-1969. On January 16, 1971, he married Mary Ann Mohrlang in Hastings, Nebraska. They moved from Hastings and returned in 1979, coming from Columbus, Nebraska. He was a self-employed electronic technician in research and development. He enjoyed music & electronics.

Mr. Sandberg was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Dean & Denny Sandberg.
