Hastings resident, Edith Maxine Hendrickson, 99, passed away Monday, February 6, 2017, at her home.

Memorial Services will be Saturday, May 6, 2017; 11:00 A.M. at Grace United Methodist Church, Hastings with Pastor Kent Rogers officiating. Burial will be Saturday, May 6, 2017; 9:30 A.M. in Blue Hill Cemetery, Blue Hill. Memorials may be given to Grace United Methodist Church. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Edith was born August 13, 1917, in Bladen, Nebraska to Robert A. & Ida (De Le Hoy) Potts. She attended Bladen High School. Edith married Ray Hendrickson on March 15, 1939; he preceded her in death on March 1, 2006. She was employed for 17 years as a low-income housing manager for West Gate Manor. Edith worked at the Hastings Regional Center for 12 years. She was also an office manager for Elk Creek Manor in Nelson for five years.

Edith was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and a life member of the Blue Hill Legion Auxiliary for 50 plus years.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray Hendrickson; grandson, Mike; and nine siblings.
