Edith Means

Edith V. Means, 85, of 607 Lane F., died Sunday, February 3, 2002 at Perkins Pavilion.

Services will be Thursday, February 7, 2002; 2:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Neil Vik officiating. Burial will be in Roseland Cemetery, Roseland, Nebraska.

Edith V. Means was born April 1, 1916 in Roseland, Nebraska to Peter & Mary (Kranau) Wermeskerch. She attended Roseland Public School and on June 15, 1937, married Virgil Means. He preceded her in death. She worked as a nurses aide at Good Samaritan Village. She lived in Glenvil, Nebraska for many years, moving to Hastings, Nebraska in 1993.

Edith V. Means was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Virgil, 4 sisters, 3 brothers and a granddaughter, Bonnie Lee.
