Edna Stichweh

January 15, 1919 — May 19, 2018

Hastings resident Edna M. (Kramer) Stichweh, 99, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Harvard Rest Haven, Harvard, NE.

Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, at Peace Lutheran Church in Hastings with Rev. Marcus J. Mackay officiating. Burial will be in Minden Cemetery in Minden. Memorials may be given to Peace Lutheran Church. Visitation is one hour prior to service at the church.

Edna was born January 15, 1919, in Minden, NE to Daniel & Della (Lewis) Cronin. She graduated from Minden High School. Edna married LeGrand Wickes in 1938; he preceded her in death in 1957. She married Lawrence Stichweh and he preceded her in death.

Edna worked at Habermans for a number of years and then was the Deputy Register of Deeds for Adams County. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, American Legion Auxiliary, and Eagles Auxiliary.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, LeGrand Wickes and Lawrence Stichweh; four brothers; and five sisters.
