Edward Bruntz

Hastings resident, Edward A. Bruntz, 85, of1116 Sycamore Ave., The Homestead, died Sunday, April 9, 2006 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 11, 2006; 11A.M.- 9 P.M. at Butler-Volland Funeral Home with family present from 6 P.M. - 8 P.M. Burial will be Thursday, April 13, 2006; at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Colorado.

Mr. Bruntz was born November 6, 1920 in Hastings, Nebraska to Alexander & Elizabeth (Reiber) Bruntz. He graduated from Hastings High School in 1938. He served in the United States Army Air Force from 1942 through 1946. In 1955, he married Colleen J. Johnson and she preceded him in death in 2004. He lived in California and Colorado before moving back to Hastings in 2005.

Mr. Bruntz was preceded in death by his parents, a wife, Colleen J. Bruntz.
