Glenvil area resident, Edward E. Heye, 86, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Saturday, December 4, 2010; 10:30 A.M. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, west of Glenvil with Pastor Renee Johnson officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Churchyard Cemetery, west of Glenvil, Nebraska. Visitation will be Friday, December 3, 2010; 1:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. with family present from 7:00 P.M. - 8:30 P.M. at the funeral home, and 1 hour prior to service at the church. Memorials may be given to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery Association.

Edward was born February 20, 1924 in Adams County, Nebraska to Evert & Kate (Hinrichs) Heye. He was an area farmer and raised cattle. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church where he served on the St. Paul's Lutheran Church Council for several years.

Edward was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents; and brother-in-law, Daryl Ochsner.
