Eileen Schuck

March 5, 1918 — August 9, 2007

Hastings resident, Eileen Lenore Schuck, 89, of Perkins Pavilion, died Thursday, August 9, 2007 at Perkins Pavilion.

Services will be Monday, August 13, 2007; 2:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Charles D. Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska. Visitation will be Saturday, August 11, 2007; 1 P.M. - 9 P.M., Sunday, August 12, 2007; 1 P.M.- 9 P.M. with family present 6 P.M.-8 P.M. & Monday, August 13, 2007; 9 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Mary Lanning Hospital Auxiliary, Eagles Auxiliary & V.F.W. Auxiliary.

Mrs. Schuck was born March 5, 1918 in Kenesaw, Nebraska to Charles & Rebecca (Carney) Edmondson. She graduated from Kenesaw High School in 1935 and on October 26, 1939, married Edward J. Schuck, in Hastings. He preceded her in death in 1967. They owned & operated the Reno Bar for a number of years. She retired in 1985, after working 9 years in the cafeteria at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital. She was a life long Adams County resident and a past member of the V.F.W., Eagles & Mary Lanning Hospital Auxiliaries.

Mrs. Schuck was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edward; two brothers and five sisters and special friend, Jim Gibbons.
