Elaine McKimmey

Juniata resident Elaine K. McKimmey, 78, of 202 West 9th Street, died Sunday, May 17, 2009 at Perkins Pavilion.

There will be no services. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 19, 2009; 5:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. and Wednesday, May 20, 3009; 9:00 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. at Livingston-Butler-Volland Funeral Home. Private family interment at Juniata Cemetery, Juniata, Nebraska. Memorials may be given to the family.

Mrs. McKimmey was born August 15, 1930 in Loup County, Nebraska to Erwin & Frances (Sebasta) Graham. She graduated from Taylor High School, Taylor, Nebraska. On May 29, 1947, she married Eldon L. McKimmey in Broken Bow, Nebraska and he preceded her in death in 2003. They moved from Custer County to Hastings in 1953. She worked at the Hastings Regional Center for 40+ years as a food service supervisor, retiring in 1991.

Mrs. McKimmey was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Karolyn, granddaughter, Hayley McKimmey, great granddaughter, Dawn Liecker and a great grandson, Tony.
