Former Hastings resident, Eleanor Barbara Taute, 73, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2009 at North Platte Care Center, North Platte, Nebraska.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at Parkview Cemetery with Rev. Marcus Mackay officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be given to American Cancer Society.

Eleanor was born on December 12, 1935 in Ayr, Nebraska to Walter & Emile (Bott) Taute. She had at one time attended Peace Lutheran Church in Hastings, Nebraska.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Evelyn Taute.
