Elizabeth Beck

Elizabeth Jeanne Beck, 68, of 5801 Quail Ridge Ave., Hastings, Nebraska, passed away December 31, 2003 at Mary Lanning Hospital.

Services will be Saturday, January 3, 2004; 11:00 A.M. at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. James Cooke officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska

Elizabeth Jeanne Beck was born December 8, 1935 in Omaha, Nebraska to Donald & Harriet (Vette) Hosford. She grew up in Omaha with her younger sister, Barbara and brother Don. She attended her first year of college at Monticello College in Illinois, then graduated from the University of Nebraska. Betty was active in the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority and affiliated with Alpha Kappa Delta honorary. She married William Lorne Beck on January 12, 1957. They lived in Hastings with their children, Jeanne, Barbara, Cathy and Scott. She was involved in the Presbyterian Church , local book clubs, birthday clubs and P.E.O. Chapter G. She also enjoyed traveling, cooking, sewing, knitting, gardening and reading.

Elizabeth Jeanne Beck was preceded in death by her parents.

She will be greatly missed by her family & friends.
