Elizabeth Margaret Collins, 94, of Kingsland, Texas, died Wednesday, September 19, 2001 at Kingsland Hills Care Center, Kingsland, Texas.

Services will be Saturday, September 29, 2001; 10:00 A.M. at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Carl W. Utley and Jeff Collins officiating. Private family burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Elizabeth Margaret Collins was born November 11, 1906 in Sioux City, Iowa to Fred & Grace (Allburn) Schaaf. She graduated from Central High School, Sioux City, Iowa in 1924 and attended Morningside College. She married Melvin Fredrik Collins on July 28, 1927 and he preceded her in death in February of 1982. They lived in Billings, Montana, Crete, Nebraska, Beloit, Kansas, Lincoln, Nebraska, Red Cloud, Nebraska and came to Hastings, from Red Cloud, Nebraska in 1939. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Presbyterian Women's Association, Coterie Club, Hastings YWCA, Niobrara Chapter DAR and Chapter HT P.E.O.

Elizabeth Margaret Collins was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Melvin, 1 sister and brother-in-law, Virginia & Bill Dunkle and a great grandson, Kyle Collins.

Richard & Linda Collins - Omaha, NE Daughter & Son-in-law: Connie & Jim Cochran - Tacoma, WA 10 Grandchildren 18 Great Grandchildren Niece: Ann Thompson - Ames, IA Nephew: Bill Dunkle - Alamo, CA

Memorial maybe given to First Presbyterian Church

Butler-Volland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Sat. 9-29-01; 1 hr. prior to service at the church
