Elizabeth Schutte

October 18, 1924 — April 13, 2001

Life long Hastings resident, Elizabeth 'Bette' Schutte, 76, of 402 Keystone Ave., died Friday, April 13, 2001 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Tuesday, April 17, 2001; 2:00 P.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Greg Volzke officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Bette Schutte was born October 18, 1924 in Hastings, Nebraska to LeRoy & Mildred (Jesse) Dreibelbis. She attended school in Juniata, Nebraska. In June of 1941, she married Robert W. Schutte and he preceded her in death in 1991. To this marriage two daughters were born. She worked at the Navy Ammunition Depot in Hastings, for a number of years before it closed and at the Hastings Regional Center until her retirement in 1986. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, rural Juniata, Nebraska, Eagle's Auxiliary and a life member and past president of V.F.W. Auxiliary #10562.

Elizabeth 'Bette' Schutte was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert.

Butler-Volland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
