Ella A. Schaffert, 90, of Hamilton Manor, Aurora, Nebraska, died Saturday, July 6, 2002 at Hamilton Manor.

Services will be Tuesday, July 9, 2002; 2:00 P.M. at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Hastings, Nebraska with Pastor Gary Cepek officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Ella A. Schaffert was born May 23, 1912 in Hamilton County, Nebraska to Gustav & Ernestina (Brandt) Arndt. On September 13, 1936, she married Oswald Schaffert and he preceded her in death in 1994. They moved from Aurora, Nebraska to Hastings, Nebraska in 1956. She was sales clerk at Jarold's Clothing Store for 6 years. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid. She was a resident of Hamilton Manor for the past 2 years.

Ella A. Schaffert was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Oswald, 9 sisters, 7 brothers, 1 son, Stanley Schaffert, a grandson and a great granddaughter.
