Ellen Ehly

Hastings resident, Ellen M. Wiltrout Ehly, 78, of The Kensington, died Friday, September 17, 2004 at her home.

Services will be Monday, September 20, 2004; 10:30 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel
Rev. Jim Miller officiating. Burial will be in Juniata Cemetery, Juniata, Nebraska.

Mrs. Ehly was born February 3, 1926 in Lingle, Wyoming to Ira O. & Myrtle (Miller) Austin. She married David L. Wiltrout on May 2, 1948 and he preceded her in death on April 13, 1981. They lived in Juniata, Nebraska. She was a seamstress & tailor many years, working for Mode O' Day, Ben Sherman and the Specialty Shoppe. Mrs. Ehly was a member of First United Methodist Church, holding several offices in the women's organizations and serving as chairman fo her group and later transferred to Grace United Methodist Church. She was a charter member of Juniata American Legion Auxiliary #365 and a member of Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and Daughters of the Nile. She married Edward T. Ehly on September 17, 1983 and he preceded her in death on November 18, 1993.

Mrs. Ehly was preceded in death by her parents, husbands David L. Wiltrout and Edward T. Ehly, three sisters and four brothers.
