Else Rodehorst

Hastings resident, Else L. Rodehorst, 83, of 802 E. 3rd. St., died Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at her home.

Graveside service and burial will be Saturday, March 13, 2004; 10:00 A.M. at Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska, with Rev. Tom Murray officiating.

Mrs. Rodehorst was born January 8, 1921 in Breslau, Germany, to David & Marie (Ehrich) Ruf. She and her parents, fled the family home near the Polish border in 1945 for West Germany. She married an American soldier, Henry O. Rodehorst, on June 15, 1951 and moved to Hastings, Nebraska in 1951. He preceded her in death on December 24, 1985. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Rodehorst was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Rosie and a sister.
