Emerald Ost, 62, of 12204 W. Alexander, Roseland, Nebraska, died Wednesday, August 4, 2004 in Cozad, Nebraska.
Services will be Monday, August 9, 2004; 11:00 A.M. at Saint Mark's Episcopal Pro-Cathedral, Hastings, Nebraska with the Very Rev. Richard J. Martindale officiating. Committal will be Monday, August 9, 3:00 P.M. at Burr Oak Cemetery, Burr Oak, Kansas.
Mr. Ost was born September 8, 1941 in Burr Oak, Kansas to Ernest & Belva (Pixler) Ost. He graduated from Burr Oak High School. He served in the National Guard for five years in the early 1960's. He married Mary Ann Garman and they had two children. He married Julie Mattison. On December 29, 1982, he married Beverly J. Hunter-Harvey in Smith Center, Kansas. He was past president of Realtors Land Institute and served on the National, State and Local Realtors Board. He served on the Ag Committee at the Chamber of Commerce, Hastings, Nebraska. He was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Pro-Cathedral.
Mr. Ost was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Marilyn Snyder and one brother, Arden Ost.
