Emery Sadler

Hastings resident, Emery A. Sadler, 85, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.

Prayer Service will be Wednesday, February 1, 2017; 2:00 P.M. at Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Kenesaw Cemetery, Kenesaw.

Emery was born December 5, 1931 in Martin, South Dakota to Henry Almon & Martha (Schirmer) Sadler. He lived in Tuthill, South Dakota as a young boy and upon the accidental death of his father, his mother and family moved to Kenesaw, Nebraska when he was six years old. Emery spent the rest of his boyhood there. He married Christine (Key) Bohlen on November 25, 1972 and she preceded him in death on April 2, 2010. Emery was employed by Big G.

Emery was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Christine; sister, Amberzine Einspahr; brother, Eugene Sadler; step-children, Garry Price and Elaine Calhoun; and niece, Rose Richardson.
