Hastings resident, Erma D. Fickenscher, 84, of Perkins Pavilion, died Friday, February 18, 2005 at Perkins Pavilion.
Services will be Tuesday, February 22, 2005; 10:00 A.M. at Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. Dan Heuer officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.
Mrs. Fickenscher was born July 12, 1920 in Gothenburg, Nebraska to Henry & Lillian (Geiken) Franzen. She married Arthur Martin Fickenscher on June 21, 1942 in Denver, Colorado and he preceded her in death on February 1, 1994. In 1984, they moved from Moorefield, Nebraska to Hastings, Nebraska. She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Lutheran Church, National Association of Retired Federal Employees, Luther Anns, Zion Lutheran Ladies Aid and American Legion Auxiliary.
Mrs. Fickenscher was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Arthur, four brothers, Roy, Ivan, Gilbert and Floyd Franzen and two sisters, LaVonne Franzen and Neva Vernazza.
