Erma Huston

Hastings resident, Erma E. Huston, 94, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be Saturday, July 17, 2010; 10:30 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Pastor Paul Knott officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery, Bladen, Nebraska. Visitation will be Friday, July 16, 2010; 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M., and 1 hour prior to service at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to East Lawn Cemetery or Hastings Berean Bible Church.

Erma was born October 10, 1915 in Bladen, Nebraska to Irvin & Etta (Boom) Meyer. She graduated from Bladen High School. On September 16, 1944 she married LeRoy Huston, and he preceded her in death on May 9, 2001. She was a homemaker. In 1985 they moved from Minden to Hastings. She was a member of the Hastings Berean Bible Church and was very active in the church.

Erma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, LeRoy Huston; and two brothers, Milton Meyer and Ralph Meyer.
