Ervin Hinrichs

Hastings resident, Ervin H. Hinrichs, 84, of 819 Circle 'N', Good Samaritan Village, died Tuesday, May 17, 2005 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital.

Services will be Thursday, May 19, 2005; 10:00 A.M. at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Bernie Ward-Crixell officiating. Burial will be in Glenvil Cemetery, both in Glenvil, Nebraska.

Mr. Hinrichs was born June 15, 1920 in Glenvil, Nebraska to Reemt & Lena G. (Rothfuss) Hinrichs. On June 25, 1941, he married Estella Marie Davis at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Glenvil, Nebraska and she preceded him in death on August 16, 2004. He was a life long area resident and a Glenvil farmer, retiring in 1982. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and a past member of the church council, Glenvil Co-op board and Sandy Creek School Board. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, traveling, cards and watching sports.

Mr. Hinrichs was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Estella Marie Hinrichs, infant son, Royce Hinrichs and two brothers, Martin & Harvey Hinrichs.
