Esther May Tupper, 107, of The Homestead, died Wednesday, December 10, 2003 at The Homestead.
Memorial services will be Monday, December 15, 2003; 2:00 P.M. at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. James Cooke officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, prior to memorial service on Monday, December 15, 2003; 12:30 P.M., both in Hastings, Nebraska.
Esther May Tupper was born on leap year day, February 29, 1896 in Dover, Kansas to William & Mary Edna (Todd) McArthur. She grew up in Topeka, Kansas and graduated from high school and from Washburn College in Topeka, Kansas. On September 6, 1920, she married Frank Tupper and he preceded her in death in 1964. She moved to Hastings, Nebraska in 1950. She was a homemaker and one of the oldest members of First Presbyterian Church. She was also active in Presbyterian Women's Group, Shrine Auxiliary, Red Cross-Bloodmobile, YWCA, Lochland Country Club, bridge clubs, Salvation Army as a board member and Mary Lanning Pink Ladies.
Esther May Tupper was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Frank, four brothers and one sister.
