Ethel 'Polly' Barnes, 84, of Haven Home of Kenesaw, died Thursday, December 28, 2000 at Haven Home, Kenesaw, Nebraska.

Private family services. Burial will be in Long Beach, California.

Ethel 'Polly' Barnes was born December 20, 1916 in Fluvanna County, Virginia to Marcellus Bradley & Margaret (Quinn) Sclater. She married Willard Barnes, February 19, 1936 in Charlottesville, Virginia and he preceded her in death in 1971. She worked for McDonald Douglas, Long Beach, California retiring in 1976 after 10 years of service. She moved from Long Beach to Hastings, Nebraska in 1982.

Ethel 'Polly' Barnes was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Willard, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
