Ethel Gillespie

Ethel O. Gillespie, 93, of Logan Manor Nursing Home, Logan, Kansas, died Thursday, August 15, 2002 at her home.

Services will be Tuesday, August 20, 2002; 11:00 A.M. at Butler-Volland Chapel with Rev. Dr. Carl W. Utley officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Ethel O. Gillespie was born May 9, 1909 in Downs, Kansas to the late Earl & Nina (Yost) Donahey. She graduated from Hastings Business School and was a 50+ year employee of Dutton-Lainson Company, serving in a corporate officer capacity as Assistant Secretary. She married Jess McClelland Gillespie and he preceded her in death on September 6, 1985. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Church Circle and Eastern Star.

Ethel O. Gillespie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jess, sister, Thelma, two brothers, Ralph & Max.
