Eva Berndt

Hastings resident, Eva Norean Berndt, 87, of Perkins Pavilion, died Saturday, June 4, 2005 at Perkins Pavilion.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 8, 2005; 10:00 A.M. at the Kenesaw Cemetery, Kenesaw, Nebraska with Pastor Dan Heuer.

Mrs. Berndt was born August 3, 1917 in Adams County, near Kenesaw, Nebraska to Everett & Rose (Comstock) Ernst. On February 21, 1943, she married Ervin Berndt and he preceded her in death on January 4, 1987. She was a homemaker and helped her husband with the farming. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Hastings, Nebraska. In 1980, she moved to Good Samaritan Village. She was a life long area resident.

Mrs. Berndt was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ervin and a brother, Donald Ernst.
