Hastings resident, Evelyn E. Alberding, 106, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society - Hastings Village, Hastings, Nebraska.

Requiem Eucharist will be Thursday, November 6, 2014; 10:30 A.M. at Saint Mark's Episcopal Pro-Cathedral, Hastings, The Very Rev. Catherine Scott will officiate. Graveside service will be Thursday, November 6, 2014; 1:30 P.M. at Clay Center Cemetery, Clay Center, Nebraska. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorials may be given to Saint Mark's Episcopal Pro-Cathedral or Perkins Pavilion Good Samaritan Society-Hastings Village.

Evelyn was born January 4, 1908 in Kearney County, Nebraska to Joseph & Elsie (Nelsen) Johannesen. She married Clifford T. Huckfeldt in 1929; he preceded her in death in 1945. Evelyn married Jess J. Alberding in 1948; he preceded her in death in 1987. She worked as a bookkeeper for Minden Lumber & Concrete and many other businesses. Evelyn was a member of Saint Mark's Episcopal Pro-Cathedral and enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bridge and reading.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; and husbands, Clifford T. Huckfeldt, Jess J. Alberding; and 2 sisters.
