Evelyn Jasch

Evelyn D. Jasch, 88, of Hastings, Nebraska, passed away November 6, 2015, at Mary Lanning Healthcare in Hastings, Nebraska.

Services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 1345 N. Saunders Ave., Hastings, Nebraska with Rev. Steven Peeler officiating- burial following at Parkview Cemetery in Hastings. Visitation will be Monday, November 9, 2015, at Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. - with family present from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be left to the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd for a purpose to be designated by the family at a later date.

Evelyn was born on June 21, 1927 on a farm near Hanover, Kansas, the daughter of Frank and Hilda (Molt) Ebeling.

She married Gilbert Jasch on September 9, 1948 in Billings, Montana. They lived briefly in Wyoming before returning to Hanover, Kansas, and then moved to Hastings, Nebraska, in 1967. She was a homemaker until 1970. At that point in addition to being a loving Mother and homemaker, she began working in the food service industry where she remained working for 33 years at the same location.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching Royals baseball, playing games on her IPad, reading, shopping, watching Jeopardy and collecting teapots.

Survived by children: Gayle Landoll, Marysville, Kansas; Nikki (Kevin) Nienhueser, Kearney, Nebraska; Bruce (Linda) Jasch, Hastings, Nebraska; Annette (Scot) Krosschell, Grand Island, Nebraska; siblings: Frank Ebeling, Olathe, Kansas; Keith (Dianne) Ebeling, Meridian, Idaho; and grandchildren and great grandchildren, Todd, Therese, James & Paige Landoll, Josh, Jennifer, Emma & Sam Landoll, Ally & Jace Robinson, Alex Nienhueser, Lauren Jasch, Brooke Jasch, Josh, Jacob, Dylan & Shelby Krosschell.

Preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert in 1985; son-in-law, Jim Landoll, sister Irene Neumann, and sister-in-law Joan Ebeling.
