Evette Mason

Evette Lynn Mason, 49, of Hastings, Nebraska, joined her parents on November 4, 2014 after a courageous fight with cancer, with her family by her side at Mary Lanning Healthcare.

Evett will be laid to rest with her parents Graveside Service will be Saturday, November 15, 2014; 10:00 A.M. at Grand Island City Cemetery, Grand Island (on Northeast side) with Jon Rowjeski of Hastings officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family in care of Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 1225 North Elm Avenue, Hastings, Nebraska 68901.

Evette was born on August 12, 1965 in Grand Island, Nebraska to Loren & Verda (Barton) Mason. Evette grew up and attended school in Grand Island. She graduated from Grand Island Senior High in 1984. She married Jeff Ramirez on February 16, 1985. Evette enjoyed the outdoors, taking care of animals, and watching her grandbabies play. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and the Montana Mountains.

Evette was preceded in death by her parents.
