F. Richards

Hastings resident, F. Kaye Richards, 68, passed away Monday, July 4, 2016 at her home.

Services will be Monday, July 11, 2016; 2:00 P.M. at First United Methodist Church, Hastings with Rev. Dr. Lee R. Wigert officiating. Burial will be in Blue Valley Cemetery, Ayr. Memorials may be given to the family, Start Over Rover, or The Bridge. Visitation will be Saturday, July 9, 2016; 3:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M., Sunday, July 10, 2016; 1:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. with the family present from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home, and one hour prior to service at the church.

Kaye was born July 9, 1947 in Hastings, Nebraska to Elden & Marcia (Crippen) Borden. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1965. Kaye married Jim Richards on December 9, 1972.

She was a co-owner of Richards Janitorial Service for 35 years. Kaye was on the board of The Bridge for 18 years. She was a member of AA for 31 years.

Kaye was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; son, John Hagemann; brothers, Veryl Borden and Don Borden; and sisters, Bonnie Furrow, Pat Overy, and Virginia Metzger.
