Faith O'Callaghan

Hastings resident, Faith Ilene (Johnson) O'Callaghan, 89, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at her home.

Memorial Services will be Friday, July 1, 2016; 9:00 A.M. at Butler Volland Chapel, Hastings with Father Joseph M. Walsh officiating. Private family burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Foundation, Attn: Sue Lomas, 200 Capri Isles Blvd., Suite 7F, Venice, Florida 34292. There will be no viewing or visitation.

Faith was born May 21, 1927. She married Paul Joseph O'Callaghan October 26, 1945 and together they had 56 years filled with love, joy, respect and friendship during which their family grew. They had 13 children which led to 34 grandkids and 57 great-grandkids.

Her joys in life were her children, grandkids, great-grandkids, flowers, playing Skipbo, and jigsaw puzzles. She will be truly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

Faith was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul; and 2 sons, Paul Jr. and William.
