Fanny Klein

Roseland resident Fanny L. (Thiel) Klein, 61, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2019, at her home after losing a five-year battle with cancer.

A private service will be held at the Roseland Cemetery for her immediate family. Condolences can be sent to Daniel Klein, 10185 Conestoga Ave Roseland, NE 68973, to be designated by the family at a later date. There will be no viewing or visitation.

She was born on November 29, 1957, in Salt Lake City, UT to Frank Thiel and Jeane (Cooley) Thiel. They were raised in Utah before relocating in 1965 to Kenesaw, NE. She married Daniel Klein of Roseland on December 12, 1986.

She worked as a stay at home mom while her children were in school. After raising their children, she worked as a dietary manager at the Homestead Assisted Living Community in Hastings, NE and Kearney County Hospital in Minden, NE.

Later in her life, Fanny loved to spend time with her children and watch her grandchildren play sports.

Fanny was preceded in death by her mother, Jeane; father, Frank; father in-law, Richard Klein; brother in-law, Franklin “Dee” LeFevre; nephews, Scott LeFevre, Steven LeFevre, and Ryan Thiel, and sister in-law, Donna Klein.
