Florence M. Helzer, 71, 1017 Oswego, Hastings, Nebraska died Thursday, May 24, 2001 at Bryan LGH Medical Center East, Lincoln, Nebraska.

Rosary will be Tuesday, May 29, 2001; 9:00A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Hastings, Nebraska. Mass of Christian Burial will follow immediately with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Florence M. Helzer was born August 24, 1929, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to John Peter & Marie Elizabeth (Peters) Hilger. She moved to Hastings, Nebraska as a young girl and graduated from Hastings High School. She married Louis Helzer Jr. on June 8, 1948 at St. Michael's Catholic Church. She worked at Jack & Jill before she retired and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church.

Florence M. Helzer was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister and 2 brothers.
