Florence Mahoney

Hastings resident, Florence C. Mahoney, 95, of 2313 W. 10th St., died Saturday, May 21, 2005 at Perkins Pavilion, Good Samaritan Village.

Rosary will be Tuesday, May 24, 2005; 10:00 A.M. prior to Mass of Christian Burial that will follow at 10:30 A.M. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Father Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, all in Hastings, Nebraska.

Mrs. Mahoney was born March 28, 1910 in Waseca, Minnesota, to Anthony & Catherine (Byrne) Kaiser. She graduated from high school and attended a commercial college for one year. On June 16, 1930, she married Howard Mahoney at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Waseca, Minnesota and he preceded her in death December 18, 1990. They moved to Hastings, Nebraska from Detroit Lakes, Minnesota in 1972. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and its Altar Society.

Mrs. Mahoney was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and seven sisters.

Memorial may be given to St. Michael's Catholic Church
