Florence North

Florence Irene North, 93, of Perkins Pavilion, died Wednesday, April 17, 2002 at Perkins Pavilion.

Services will be Saturday, April 20, 2002; 10:30 A.M. at First United Methodist Church with Dr. Sam Rathod officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.

Florence Irene North was born May 9, 1908 near Blue Hill, Nebraska to George & Pearl (Motley) Dykeman. She graduated from Hastings High School and in July of 1930, married Samuel 'Sam' North at her parents home. She was a homemaker and also worked for Hastings Casket Company for 12 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Mary Lanning Auxiliary and YWCA. She was a life long area resident.

Florence Irene North was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Virginia Hupf and 3 brothers.
